Errol's history
I started tattooing
in 1993. I've been drawing all my life and I learned a lot about
colour compositions and shading and highlights in drawings from
my dad who had done art academy. I've been a bass player in
several rock-a-billy bands for about 12 years. During this period
I drew and collected tattoos. I got my first tattoo at the age
of 17 while me and a friend of mine went drinking. The result
was: a little faggoty anchor on my arm. About a year later I
had it covered with an old-school gypsy lady. The original design
was by Bert Grimm. At that time I thought it was a Sailor Jerry
Collins design, but Lyle Tuttle once told me it was Bert Grimm's
originally. I guess I believe him. So tattoos always had my
interest. At a certain point I decided to take my artwork more
